Great location, near shops, restaurants, and Marina. Clean and comfy with helpful staff. Parking available.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Spacious well designed suites, fully self contained and with wonderful outlook.

The only shortcoming was the lack of tissues in the bathroom.

The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. We appreciated superb views.

Our room had a bathtub 🛁, which was a nice touch. A restaurant called Nautilus is just a short walk away, so you won't go hungry. the staff here were great, and the location couldn't have been better. We also enjoyed the pool – it was a perfect addition to our stay!

Great location.

Accommodation standard was quite basic - including no room cleaning or refreshing of towels etc. Also, lost several hours of sleep on last night of stay (2:30 am to 5:30 am) due to guests partying noisily in next room. Would have expected some refund for inconvenience.

The renovated rooms, were very nice.

We arrived to find our day of arrival had been changed, to our checkout day, this was the busy July school holidays, hotels etc were booked solid. After the staff member told me they were booked, i just stood there in shock i suppose and she found us an unrenovated room for the night in the hotel. We had booked a renovated, apartment, the 1 we were given for the night, was musty & the bed had not been changed from the previous customers, i was informed cleaning staff had left for the day, i was given clean sheets & proceeded to make up the bed. We were moved to a renovated room for the next 2 days & had requested a late checkout, however the cleaner knocked on our door at 10.00am to clean room. The manager was not on duty when we arrived, there was no note left for him as to what had happened, i told him upon checkout & he gave us the 1st night free.

Great location, right in the heart of everything, close to shops and restaurants with a beautiful view of the mountains and water from our suite. The pool area was nice and clean, and we enjoyed lounging by it.

They were not very clean, and the furniture was well-worn. The bathroom had a musty smell that never went away.

Location, Location, Location and the real feel of a tropical holiday amongst the palm trees.

Our first room had a problem with the shower door and the staff were very helpful and offered an upgrade - which we took. Thanks Jo.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is situated right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It is also conveniently located at the sea end of Marcossan street, close to all the popular restaurants. I loved the fact that it's just across the road from a beautiful park area. The hotel itself has a charming ambiance, with grotto-like faux stone areas that add a unique touch.

Highly recommended! I would definitely stay at this place again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Excellent location for getting around Port Douglas. The room that we had was refurbished to a very high standard. Very comfortable furniture and had a washer which was very useful. 2 balconies with great views. Friendly staff. We would definitely book this particular room again.

The hotel is centrally located with many amenities nearby, such as Coles supermarket and Carnivale events. It's a short walk from Four Mile Beach and the town centre. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with well-equipped balconies featuring a kitchenette and lovely views.

One aspect of the hotel is tired and could use an update.

Location was perfect, Pool and spas were very inviting.. Will definately go back and stay there again.

Only one complaint, Above our bed there was an air vent which had never been cleaned..... It was covered in mould.

Loved the location - apartment spacious - balcony kitchen great. Pool area excellent. Staff friendly / helpful . Overall a very pleasant feel about the place and we would stay again also would not hesitate to recommend Club Tropical to friends / family.
